What’s in a rock’n rooms basket?

All kinds of things! Our room baskets are created for each individual child in their favorite theme. The baskets include bedding, room decorations, toiletries, bath towels, arts and crafts, books, games, toys, and more. We also include a support bag for the parents/caregivers.

What if a child has a special request for a specific item?

Whenever possible, we include specially requested items for the child in their room basket.

Is there a charge to the family for a room basket?

Any child with a hospital stay anticipated to be 3 weeks or longer qualifies for a Rock’n Rooms basket at no charge.

Who can request a room basket for a child?

Anybody can. Once we receive the request, we will touch base with the Child Life Specialist for any specific instructions and to arrange a delivery time.

How long after the request is made does the child receive their basket?

We do our best to deliver within 48 hours, but it can take up to four days, depending on whether or not we need to order items online.

May the child keep the items they receive from rock’n rooms?

Everything the child receives from Rock’n Rooms is theirs to keep and take home with them when they are discharged.
